Our first ever BONUS episode is from our first ever LIVE show! Enjoy a first-hand account of the Naperville Central High School mummy (as discussed in Episode 005) with special guest, James Galanis, former World History teacher and ‘Mummy Caretaker’ for 25 years.
In addition to ensuring the mummy’s safety and sharing the story with students, Mr. Galanis got to participate in multiple fact-finding endeavors surrounding the mummy’s history and authenticity — including a visit from National Geographic as a part of their Mummy Roadshow series in 2002.
This episode was recorded live from the Tamarack Golf Club in Naperville, IL as a part of Naperville Newcomers and Neighbors first ‘Ed Talk,’ appropriately themed “Naperville Histories and Mysteries.”
